Project Description

Lack of safe and comfortable access inhibit women’s freedom, independence, and quality of life. At InterActions LA, we presented new research by UCLA professor Anastasia Loukaitou-Sideris on public safety among university students in the LA region and internationally. Plus, speakers from LA Metro, Pueblo Planning, ACT-LA, and Los Angeles Walks explored barriers women and gender minorities face and opportunities to make mobility and access improvements for all.

InterActions LA is an annual conference on regional growth and equity hosted by the UCLA Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies.
