Virtual Luskin Summit
Housing, Equity, and Community in the Time of COVID-19
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, Los Angeles already had one of the least affordable housing markets in the country and many residents just a paycheck or two away from eviction or homelessness. Now, with countless people unable to work or having been laid off, those paychecks have stopped arriving. What should be done to keep Angelenos stably housed and protected from eviction and foreclosure during this crisis? What does shelter in place mean to people already living without shelter? Join us for a discussion on housing in the era of coronavirus and how today’s challenges might shape future policy.
